ALPVENTURES - If you want to see the main sites of WWII in one well planned tour, this is it.  Owned and operated by Tony Cisneros, Alvpentures has a full array of tours to choose from.  All his tours are full of what you're there to see, plus extras, and they're reasonably priced.  My son and I took two of Tony's tours in 2003 so we can say with confidence, Tony will make your tour a wonderfully memorable experience.

DEADMAN"S CORNER MUSEUM - All Airborne, All The Way.  Part of the Carentan Historical Center, this museum has one of the best presentations of US Airborne artifacts in all of Normandy.  Most of the collection belongs to long time Airborne historian and author, Michel de Trez.  The displays are very well done, very accurate, and all original artifacts, many of them named to the original veteran owner.

MUSEE AIRBORNE - Located in St. Mere Eglise, Normandy, this is the original Airborne museum of the area.  They have lots on display including large items like a C-47, a Sherman Tank, a glider, and much much more.  Located on the former spot of the house that was burning on D-Day night at the paratroopers dropped in, this is a must see when in the area.

THE NATIONAL WWII MUSEUM - Located in New Orleans, this museum has had great reviews.  It has only been open a few years, and I have not had the pleasure of visiting it yet, but I've heard good things about it.
