Pictures #22 through #31 are all from the same event and location.  The event was the 101st Airborne Silver Star awards ceremony on the afternoon of June 23rd, 1944.  The place was the place de la Republique (town square) in the heart of Carentan.  This was the second of two award ceremonies, the first was held on the 15th.
