A Tribute To The Men Who Cleared The Way

Memorabilia

Scrapbooks, unit histories, ashtrays, plaques, patches, etc.  These are just a few of the types of items that were produced either officially or unofficially both during and immediately after the war to commorate the actions of our brave veterans.  Original examples have become just as rare as some of the official uniforms and equipment issued to our servicemen during the war.

"Currahee" the motto of the 506th PIR adorns the cover of this regimental scrapbook  It was made in Germany just after the war by the 506th regiment and is filled with information on the regiment and the 101st.  It includes many pictures, battle details, and honor lists from the different campaigns.
